Andrew Logan brooches are handcrafted and unique, as this visionary artist is always exploring new creative designs and often uses recycled materials. His unisex brooch pins can be a statement piece and each brooch bears Andrew Logan’s signature. This brooch, named 'L.A. My Car, My Home' was created by Andrew in 1996 after a trip to America and he hopes this vintage piece of wearable sculpture brings someone joy.
The brooch features a cream/biege disc of textured material with irregular dimples, possible part of a headlight that was a found object whilst Andrew Logan was in the USA. This is surrounded by nine pieces of silver mirror laid over black resin and encrusted with a generous amount of mainly silver and gold glitter.
The splendid brooch has a diameter of approximately 13 cm and weighs 102g, with a safety pin embedded on the reverse side.
